YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Young Harris College women's lacrosse team fell to Flagler College 13-7 in Saturday (March 26) afternoon's Gulf South Conference match at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field.
Young Harris fell to 6-7 overall and 1-1 in the Gulf South, while Flagler improved to 7-5 and 1-0. The Mountain Lions return to action April 5 with a GSC contest against Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Taylor Greenberg led Young Harris with three goals, while Morgan Lewis and Ruthie Mandell had two each.
- Kinsley Purser dished out two assists. Felisse Richard, Ruthie Mandell and Ella Hancock added one apiece.
- Greenberg grabbed four ground balls, while Rachel Robb recorded three, and Gwenyth Gibbons had two.
- Hancock, Eryn Brown, Parker Vaughan, Suzanne Moore, Purser, Emily Flynt, Mandell, and Richard had one ground ball each.
- Hancock led the Mountain Lions winning seven draw controls while Greenberg, Moore, Purser, Flynt, and Richard each had one.
- Robb had nine saves in goal for the Mountain Lions, while Maddy Meyers recorded two.
