MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. | The Young Harris College women's golf team finished in 11th place at the Low Tide Intercollegiate hosted by Limestone University Tuesday (March 1) afternoon.
The Mountain Lions posted a final round of 327 on tha par 72, 6,100-yard layout on the Dunes West Golf and River Club to complete the 54-hole event with a score of 968. Limestone won the tournament with a score of 877, 29 strokes better than second-place Lenoir-Rhyne University.
Emma Andersson was the top YHC golfer in the field as she tied for 32nd place at 236 after a final round of 81.
Peyton Rich also fired an 81 and tied for 38th at 238, while
Erica Andersson had the low round of the day with a 78 and came in 60th place at 250.
Connor Johnson had an 87 and came in 66th with a three-round tally of 257.
The Mountain Lions return to the links March 28 when they travel to Greenwood, South Carolina, for the Bearcat Invitational.
