Mountain Lions end Florida trip with loss to No. 8 Rollins

WINTER PARK, Fla. | Caroline Gastonguay and Charlotte Gastonguay each scored four goals to lead No. 8 Rollins College to a 16-7 non-conference women's lacrosse victory over Young Harris College Sunday (Feb. 6) afternoon at the Barker Family Stadium.

The Tars improved to 1-0, while the Mountain Lions fell to 0-3. Young Harris returns to action Feb. 16 when they travel to Gaffney, South Carolina, to face nationally ranked Limestone University at 5 p.m.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

Rollins opened the match with four unanswered goals to take control of the match.
Kinsley Purser scored three goals for the Mountain Lions, while Ella Hancock and Ashlyn Fraley had two each.
Hancock added two assists, while Emily Flynt had one.
Hancock and Purser recorded four draw controls each, while Taylor Greenberg tallied three.
Eryn Brown and Purser each scooped up three ground balls, while Parker Vaughan, Rachel Robb, Emma Brennan and Ally Cattoni coralled two each.
Brennan recorded three caused turnovers, while Purser had two.
Robb stopped a career-high 18 shots in goal.
