YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Young Harris College men's tennis team opened up their 2022 spring season with a 7-0 victory over Piedmont University Sunday afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.
The Mountain Lions improved to 2-0, while the Lions fell to 0-1. Young Harris returns to action Friday (Feb. 11)Â when they travel to Jefferson City, Tennessee, for a 1 p.m. match against Carson-Newman University.
YHC took a 1-0 lead after sweeping the three doubles matches. The Mountain Lions then claimed all six singles matches in straight sets, dropping just 10 games.
