Box Score FLORENCE, S.C. |  Francis Marion University picked up a 5-4 Peach Belt Conference men's tennis victory over Young Harris College Sunday (March 4) afternoon at the Kassab Courts.

The Patriots improved to 6-6 overall and to 2-3 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions fell to 7-3 and 2-3.. YHC returns to the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Comples Tuesday (March 6)  for a 2 p.m. PBC match against No. 8 Lander University.

FMU took a 2-1 lead after doubles, before Guilherme Sergio and Javier Villar picked up straight-set wins at No. 2 and 4 singles respectively as the Mountain Lions tied the match at 4. Young Harris tied the match at 4 as Ignacio Ascarrunz won his match at No. 6 singles; however, the Patriots claimed the match with a win at No. 5 singles.
