ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. | Flagler College recorded an 8-1 Peach Belt Conference men's tennis victory over Young Harris College Sunday (April 9) morning at the Flagler Tennis Center.

The 24th-ranked Saints improved to 13-6 overall and to 5-4 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions fell to 9-11 overall and finished the PBC regular season at 3-7. Young Harris, which is currently in eighth place entering the final week of conference play in the PBC, will have to wait to see if that is good enough to qualify for the conference tournament in two weeks. The Mountain Lions will wrap up their regular season April 19 when they host Emmanuel (Ga,) College in a 2 p.m. match at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.

Mateo Besada picked up the lone victory for Young Harris as he recorded a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles.
