FLORENCE, S.C. | Columbus State University defeated Young Harris College 5-0 in the quarterfinals of the 2017 Peach Belt Conference Men's Tennis Tournament Friday (April 21) afternoon at the Dr. Eddie Floyd Florence Tennis Center.
The No. 9 Cougars, who are the tournament's No. 1 seed, improved to 19-3, while the No. 8 seeded Mountain Lions fell to 10-12. CSU will face No. 5 seed Flagler College in a 1 p.m. semifinal match Saturday (April 22), while the Mountain Lions will face No. 4 seed and cross-mountain rival University of North Georgia in a 1 p.m. elimination match Saturday (April 22).
