YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College ended their regular season with a 7-2 non-conference men's tennis victory over Emmanuel (Ga.) College 7-2 on Senior Day Wednesday (April 19) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.

The Mountain Lions improved to 10-11, while the Lions fell to 5-18. Young Harris will return to action Friday (April 21) at the 2017 Peach Belt Conference Tournament in Florence, South Carolina. The No. 8 seeded Mountain Lions will take on top seed and No. 7 Columbus State University in a 1 p.m. quarterfinal match at the Dr. Eddie Floyd Florence Tennis Center.

The Mountain Lions recognized their two seniors - Raul Quevedo and Daniel Tiboldi - prior to the match. Quevedo, who has won the most singles (56) and doubles matches (63) for the Mountain Lions in the NCAA era, and Tiboldi each won their respective singles matches in straight sets.
