YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Young Harris men's tennis team opened their 2017 spring season with a 7-2 non-conference victory over Lenoir-Rhyne University Wednesday (Feb. 1) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.
The Mountain Lions improved to 1-0, while the Bears fell to 0-1. Young Harris will travel to Montgomery, Alabama, Saturday (Feb. 4) for a 2:30 p.m. Central time match against Auburn University at Montgomery.
Young Harris swept all three double matches and clinched the match when
Alex Pavel defeated Alex Crespo Sanchez 6-2, 7-6 (1) at No. 2 singles.
