GREENWOOD, S.C. | No. 5 Lander University registered an 8-1 Peach Belt Conference men's tennis victory over Young Harris College Sunday (April 3) afternoon at the Joe Cabri Tennis Center.
The Bearcats improved to 14-2 overall and to 9-1 in the league while the Mountain Lions fell to 10-9 and 1-7. Young Harris returns to action April 13 when they travel to Franklin Springs, Georgia, for a 2 p.m. non-conference match against Emmanuel (Ga.) College.
Alejandro Ridruejo earned the point for Young Harris with his 6-3, 2-6, 1-0 (5) win at No. 4 singles.
