YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Columbus State University defeated Young Harris College 8-1 in a Peach Belt Conference match in a battle of nationally ranked men's tennis teams Sunday (March 6) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.

The No. 11-ranked Cougars improved to 7-3 overall and to 4-1 in the league while the No. 41-ranked Mountain Lions fell to 6-2 and 1-2. Young Harris returns to action Tuesday (March 8) with a 1 p.m. road match against Coker College in Hartsville, South Carolina.

Daniel Tiboldi picked up the point for Young Harris with his 2-6, 6-2, 1-0 (11-9) victory over Zach Whaanga at No. 4 singles.
