YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Young Harris College men's tennis team recorded an 8-1 Peach Belt Conference victory over Georgia Southwestern State University Saturday (March 5) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.

The 41st-ranked Mountain Lions improved to 6-1 overall and to 1-1 in the Peach Belt while the Hurricanes fell to 2-9 and 0-3. Young Harris returns to action Sunday (March 6) when they face No. 11 Columbus State University in an 11 a.m. Peach Belt match.

Raul Quevedo, who has won the most singles matches in the NCAA era for the Mountain Lions with 37, won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4 singles.
