YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Auburn University Montgomery defeated Young Harris College 6-3 in a non-conference men's tennis match Monday (March 28) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.

The Warhawks, who are transitioning to NCAA Division II, are currently No. 2 in the NAIA with a 9-4 ledger, while the Mountain Lions saw their four-match winning streak snapped and fell to 10-7. Young Harris, which played its final home match of the season, returns to the courts Saturday (April 2) when they travel to Aiken, South Carolina, for a 1 p.m. Peach Belt Conference match against No. 49-ranked University of South Carolina Aiken.

Alex Pavel and Raul Quevedo earned a point with their 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles while Brecht Vangrinsven (6-3, 6-4) and Alejandro Ridruejo (6-3, 6-4) earned victories at No. 1 and No. 6 singles, respectively.
