YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The University of North Georgia picked up an 8-1 Peach Belt Conference men's tennis victory over its cross-mountain rival Young Harris College Saturday (Feb. 27) afternoon at the Bob and Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.

The Nighthawks, who are ranked No. 20 in the ITA Division II, improved to 6-0 overall and to 2-0 in the Peach Belt while the 41st-ranked Mountain Lions slipped to 4-1 and 0-1. Young Harris will travel to Tigerville, South Carolina, for a 2 p.m. non-conference match Wednesday (March 2) against North Greenville University.

Brecht Vangrinsven earned the lone win for the Mountain Lions with his 7-5, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles.
