BELMONT, N.C. | The Young Harris College men's tennis team swept all six singles matches to claim a 7-2 non-conference victory over Belmont Abbey College Friday (Feb. 12) afternoon at the Michael Reidy Tennis Center.

The Mountain Lions, who are ranked No. 39 in the latest ITA NCAA Division II rankings, improved to 3-0 while the Crusaders fell to 2-2. Young Harris opens up its home schedule as well as its Peach Belt Conference opener Feb. 20 when they face Flagler College in a 10 a.m. match at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.

Belmont Abbey took the first two flights of doubles to lead 2-1. The Mountain Lions took control of the match as they swept every singles match. Â
