YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – Lander University defeated Young Harris College 7-2 in a battle of nationally ranked Peach Belt Conference men's tennis teams Sunday (March 29) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.
The Bearcats, who are ranked No. 7 in the latest ITA NCAA Division II rankings, improved to 9-2 overall and to 7-0 in the league while the No. 48-ranked Mountain Lions fell to 10-7 and 3-6. Young Harris returns to action Saturday (April 4) with a 2 p.m. home match against Emmanuel (Ga.) College.
Sebastian Edin and Federico Terreni earned wins in singles for the Mountain Lions.
