GREENVILLE, S.C. | Young Harris College women's soccer goalkeeper, Emily Jantz, was named the Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Week ending Sept. 13.

The senior from Dacula, Georgia totaled seven saves in two games to help the Mountain Lions go 2-0 on the week and remain undefeated in the Conference Carolinas. Jantz recorded three saves against Erskine College and four saves against King University to secure two shutouts for Young Harris. 

The Mountain Lions will return to action Saturday (Sept. 19) in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where they will face Converse University at 4:30 p.m.
