GREENVILLE, S.C. | Conference Carolinas announced its 2026 softball postseason awards, with Julia Moore earning Freshman of the Year honors after a dominant debut season in the circle. Moore played a key role in helping the Mountain Lions to a 31-15 overall record and a 23-5 mark in conference play, earning the No. 2 seed in the Conference Carolinas Championship.

Moore led the league with a 1.41 ERA and recorded six shutouts while posting a 15-4 record, ranking third in Conference Carolinas in wins. She totaled 118 strikeouts across 129.1 innings pitched and was twice named Conference Carolinas Pitcher of the Week (March 17 and 24), while also earning Freshman of the Month honors in both February and March.
