YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College women's lacrosse attacker Riley Parker has been recognized in a recent NCAA.com feature highlighting underclassmen making an impact across Division II women's lacrosse down the final stretch of the regular season.

As postseason positioning intensifies across the country, Parker was included among a select group of players identified for their ability to influence games in critical moments. The feature, which spotlighted high-level scorers and playmakers, noted Parker's role in leading the Mountain Lions' offensive attack as the team continues its push towards the Conference Carolinas Tournament crown.

"The Mountain Lions are 13-5 but have a big mountain to climb to make the tournament in the South Region full of nationally ranked powers," said Wayne Cavadi. Parker will do all she can in the upcoming Conference Carolinas tournament, as the junior attacker has 55 goals and 19 assists on the season."

With the Mountain Lions finishing the season undefeated in Conference Carolinas play and preparing for postseason play (9-0), Parker's recognition on a national platform further highlights the impact she has made on the Mountain Lions Women's Lacrosse program. As conference tournament action approaches, her performance will be central to Young Harris' efforts in the tournament and the team's ability to compete in a highly challenging region.
