MARS HILL, N.C. | The Young Harris College men's tennis team delivered a dominant performance on Thursday afternoon (Mar. 5), sweeping Mars Hill University 7-0 at the Hart Tennis Center.
The Mountain Lions started strong by securing the doubles point with wins on all three courts. Noah Pawirodirjo and Samuel Guzon earned a 6-3 victory at No. 1 doubles, while Noah Torrealba Auerbach and Parker Rowan followed with a 6-2 win at the No. 2 spot. Greyson Williams and Nills Vercruyssen completed the doubles sweep with a 6-3 win at No. 3 doubles.
Young Harris carried that momentum into singles play, winning all six matches in straight sets to complete the shutout. Pawirodirjo led the lineup with a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles, while Guzon followed with a 6-4, 6-2 victory at No. 2. Williams added a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles, and Torrealba Auerbach earned a 6-1, 6-3 victory at No. 4. Rowan secured a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles, and Mika Sheth closed out the sweep with a 7-6, 6-3 win at No. 6.
