YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Thomas Kleinpenning has been named Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week. He scored both goals in YHC's 2-2 season opener against Coker, converting both of his shot attempts. Kleinpenning tied the game in the 37th minute and gave YHC the lead in the 57th off an assist from Leho Le Louarn. The junior forward showed why he's a First Team All-Conference talent in a hard-fought match.

Abby Schirm has been named Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Player of the Week after leading YHC to two wins at the Bobcat Classic. She totaled 70 kills, 46 digs, and 11 aces across four matches, averaging 3.89 kills and 2.56 digs per set. Schirm recorded three double-doubles and led the team in both kills and digs throughout the weekend. Her dominant performance sets the tone for what's shaping up to be a big season for the Mountain Lions.
