Grodecki brings more than two decades of collegiate athletics experience to Young Harris, having served as a coach, senior administrator and compliance leader across multiple NCAA Division II institutions. Most recently, she worked at Barton College as Associate Athletic Director for External Relations and Facility Operations, where she provided leadership in strategic communications, game operations, facility management and departmental administration.

"Jamie brings a rare mix of deep athletics experience and genuine calm to everything she does," said Young Harris College Vice President for Athletics and Student Engagement Emily Carella. "In compliance, that steadiness is exactly the kind of leadership our department needs right now. She was named the Peach Belt Conference Coach of the Year in 2013. Before her tenure at Georgia College, Grodecki served as head softball coach at St. Petersburg College and Southern Arkansas University, while also spending time as an assistant coach at Delta State University.

Grodecki earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2000 before receiving her master's degree in physical education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2003.
