th). In game one,
Avery Fielden recorded impressive numbers as she was 3-for-4 with a double, home run, and six RBI. In game two,
Gracie Hughes seemed unstoppable with a 3-for-3 line and five RBI.

The Mountain Lions move to 17-21 overall and are 8-10 in Conference Carolinas. The Valkyries move to 16-24 overall and are an even 8-8 in Conference Carolinas.Â

Game 1:
- Converse University finished on top with a final score of 7-5.
- In the first inning, Sydney Watson homered to left center. Then, continuing her hot streak at the plate, she went yard again in the third, this time with two runners on. The Valkyries led 5-0.
- Answering the big swings of Converse, the home Purple & White's Avery Fielden (3-for-4) hit a two-run blast to put YH on the board in the third.
- A solo home run from Madison Davis in the fourth inning extended the Valkyries lead 6-2.
- In the game of the long ball, Gracie Hughes (1-for-3) had her moment at the plate with a solo home run to left field in the fourth. YH trailed 6-3.
- Each team added in the final inning. Sydney Watson of Converse had an RBI single to center, while Avery Fielden's RBI double down the left field line had the Mountain Lions within two.Â
- Sydney Watson was a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI.
- Avery Fielden was 3-for-4 with a double, home run, and six RBI.Â
- Converse's Riley Lingerfelt was awarded the win after seven innings pitched, allowing seven hits and five runs while striking out two in the win.

Game 2:
- The Mountain Lions swiped game two of the double-header with a final score of 9-1.
- YH got going early thanks to RBI from Gracie Hughes (3-for-3) and Grace Young in the first. Young Harris led 2-0.
- Tacking on in the third was Gracie Hughes with an RBI single and Abby Castleberry with a sacrifice fly. Mountain Lions were on top 5-0.
- For the lone Converse run of the game, Olivia Jones had an RBI single in the fourth.Â
- A two-run home run from Gracie Hughes, who has had herself a day at the plate, extended the lead 7-1 in the fourth.
- In a game that only went five innings, Mallory Clark and Bailee Brown (1-for-4) finished the job. Clark had a sacrifice fly while Brown brought in two with an RBI single to right center.Â
- Grace Young had an outstanding outing in the circle today, limiting the Converse offense to only one run and two hits on the day, while striking out three in the win. Young advances to 10 wins on the 2025 campaign.
- Gracie Hughes was 3-for-3 with a home run and five RBI.
- Shelby Duncan added two stolen bases to her resume in game two.
