MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. | The Young Harris College women's lacrosse team battled the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey in the Conference Carolinas Tournament Semifinals. YH played behind the eight ball for the majority of the first half, falling behind 8-2 midway through the second period. The Mountain Lions clawed their way back, but could not catch up to BAC, falling 15-9. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: 

• Sydney Craig scored twice on four shots, picking up a ground ball. 

• Brooklyn Kiest delivered two goals and scooped up two ground balls, while causing a turnover. 

• Ashlyn Fraley netted two goals on three shot attempts. 

• Riley Parker recorded two goals and added a ground ball and a draw control. 

• Addison Heiser tallied one goal and one assist, while also collecting a ground ball and causing a turnover. 

• Mary Troyer dished out a game-high five assists and recorded three draw controls. 

• Addyson Greenspan led the charge for BAC, netting four goals and adding an assist. 

• Crusaders goalie Summer Eddinger picked up six saves and allowed nine YH goals. 

• Goalkeeper Abbie Gallagher racked up 15 saves for the Mountain Lions, matching Belmont Abbey's total number of goals.
