Avery Fielden (First Team),
Shelby Duncan (Second Team),
Grace Young (Second Team), and
Gracie Hughes (All Defensive Team) for being recognized for their greatness on the diamond in the 2025 season.
Avery Fielden, a sophomore outfielder from Suwanee, Ga., was named to the All-Conference Second Team in her second year in the Enchanted Valley. She posted a .394 batting average, 39 hits, three home runs, 27 RBI, and an impressive slugging percentage of .586%.
Shelby Duncan, who has started at the hot corner in all 44 games this season, was named to the All-Conference Second Team after a fantastic junior season. She finished the regular season with an incredible .416 batting average, racking up 62 hits; this consists of 12 doubles, three triples, four home runs, and 21 runs batted in near the top of the order. Duncan has also posted a .617 slugging percentage and recorded 15 stolen bases.
While being a weapon in the circle and at the plate, Snellville, Ga. native
Grace Young was named to the All-Conference Second Team as a pitcher. The senior had an overall 13-3 record this season, as the Mountain Lions go-to pitcher. The formula was simple – if
Grace Young was in the circle, the YH win percentage sat at 72 percent. She posted a career-low opponent batting average this season (.267). She finished with a 4.39 ERA in 87.2 innings pitched.
Gracie Hughes, a junior pitcher/first baseman from Woodstock, Ga., was named to the All-Defensive Team after her personal best season yet. Hughes tallied 344 putouts and nine assists accompanied by only one error. She wrapped up the 2025 regular season hitting .385 with 14 home runs and 59 RBI. In the span of 44 games, Hughes posted a .784 slugging percentage. All those marks are career-highs, marking a truly dominant season.
The Mountain Lions begin the postseason this afternoon where they will take on North Greenville University in Duncan, SC, where they will look to Fielden, Duncan, Young, and Hughes to lead their way to victory.
