QUOTE FROM HEAD COACH CHRISTINE HATTON:Â
"I'm really proud of how our team played today. We were disciplined and played smart. This was a true team effort and great conference win for us. Our defense did a fantastic job of holding their main shooters to minimal points today. Abbie had one of the best games of her career. Riley played hard today. She got fouled a lot and scored 4 free position goals, including the game winning OT goal and led the team in draw controls. Freshman, Brooklyn, had a great game as well. She tied Riley for 5 goals and her late goal was the one that tied us up and sent us into OT."Â
Young Harris College now moves to 7-6, while Emmanuel drops to 6-6.Â
