HUNTSVILLE, Ala | The Mountain Lions hit the road on March 8th for a battle against the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where they fought hard but ultimately fell 18-8 to the Chargers. The Mountain Lions saw contributions across the board, with Brooklyn Kiest, Mary Troyer, Niah Anderson, Jess Sujishi, and Riley Parker each tallying a goal for Young Harris.
Young Harris College now moves to 3-3, while UAH improves to 3-6.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
· Riley Parker led the Mountain Lions with three goals, while Mary Troyer and Niah Anderson each added one. Brooklyn Kiest and Jess Sujishi also found the back of the net once.
· Troyer contributed across the board leading the team with five draw controls.
· Young Harris totaled 12 draw controls in the contest while forcing 19 turnovers.
· Goalkeepers Abbie Gallagher and McKenna Graf combined for 11 saves.
