MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | The Young Harris College men's tennis team fought down to the wire but came up just short in a 4-3 battle against Georgia College on the road.
The Mountain Lions move to 3-5 on the season following the hard-fought match.

Young Harris started strong in doubles play, claiming the opening point. The duo of Noah Pawirodirjo & Caleb McCurry secured a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles to give YHC the edge. However, Georgia College responded by taking the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches, clinching the doubles point.
Carrying the intensity into singles play, the Mountain Lions claimed three wins but ultimately fell just short of the comeback.

Caleb McCurry (#2) battled through a marathon match, winning a second-set tiebreaker but dropping the final set in a 4-6, 7-6 (11-9), 6-7 (7-4) defeat.

Mason Harmon (#4) controlled his match from start to finish, securing a 6-2, 6-4 straight-set win.
