ALBERTVILLE, ALA. The first day of the Charger Chillout tournament comes to a close for Young Harris, who unfortunately dropped game one to Trevecca Nazarene with a final score of 2-5 (Feb 7
th).
Gracie Hughes blasted a two-run home run in the third, but it wasn't enough to keep up with the Trojans offense tonight.Â

The Mountain Lions move to 1-2 and the Trojans move to 6-0 on the 2025 season.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Both offenses got going in the 3rd inning. Trevecca Nazarene got on the board first after a Madison Pruitt RBI single to center field.
- Then in YH's offensive half of the inning, Gracie Hughes (1-3) went yard to put the Mountain Lions on top 2-1.
- The Trojans tacked on two thanks to Kyleigh Burgett's RBI single and Ashlan Sensing's SAC fly. Young Harris trailed 3-2 heading into the fifth.Â
- In the sixth, Ashlan Sensing hit an RBI double to left field. The last run of the evening for either side was an RBI double to left field by Annabelle Ellis.Â
- Grace Young finished 2-3 at the plate with a walk.Â
- Ashlan Sensing recorded the win for the Trojans after 7 IP.

UP NEXT: The Mountain Lions stay ready for day two of the Charger Chillout tournament tomorrow (Feb 8
th). They will take on the University of Montevallo and Delta State University at 12PM and 2:30PM respectively.Â
