Mountain Lions Battle with Bearcats

YOUNG HARRIS, GA. The Mountain Lions fell short this afternoon (Feb 22^nd) to the visiting Bearcats of Lander University with a final score of 3-15. Young Harris looks to get back in the win column when they travel to Newberry College next Saturday (Mar 1^st).

The Mountain Lions move to 2-3 and the Bearcats go to 3-2 on the season.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
·       Lander found the back of the net early in the game, after they created a 7-0 lead into the 2^nd period.
·       David Traywick scored an unassisted goal for the Mountain Lions in the 2^nd period to make the score 7-1.
·       Indiana Crawford registered a goal to his name in the 4^th period to tack on for YH.
·       Ben Soenen added another goal for the Mountain Lions in the 4^th period by way of an assist from Tommy Chriszt.
·       Dylan Wilbur and Thomas Castiglia split time in the goal today, recording a combined 15 saves.
·       Zane Dalpe led the way for Lander with 4 goals on the day.

UP NEXT: Young Harris will return to action Saturday, March 1^st, when they travel to Newberry College.
