Young Harris, Ga. | Young Harris College and Director of Athletics, Aaron Bessey, are excited to welcome Dani Bishop as the newest addition to the coaching staff. A highly accomplished coach and player with extensive experience across club, high school, and collegiate volleyball, Dani brings both passion and proven success to her new role as Assistant Volleyball Coach.

"I'm so excited to bring Dani on staff as our assistant volleyball coach," said Head Volleyball Coach, Ginny Howard. "She brings a wealth of knowledge of the game and her philosophy on volleyball couldn't match any better with the environment and culture we are going to build at Young Harris. She will be an amazing asset to recruitment with all her connections and I cannot wait to see our program grow with her as a part of it. I'm most excited to collaborate and co-coach all these athletes with her and make them better people and volleyball players. The future of Young Harris Volleyball is bright, go Mountain Lions!"

Dani's impressive coaching journey includes leadership roles at prestigious volleyball clubs such as Tsunami Cobb Volleyball Club, Fury Volleyball Club, and 575 Volleyball of Georgia. Notably, she has led multiple teams to USAV Nationals, earning bids for 13s, 14s, and 15s across various seasons. Her dedication to developing young athletes has made her a standout figure in Georgia's volleyball community.

In addition to her coaching achievements, Dani's playing career is equally distinguished, spanning indoor, beach, and grass volleyball. As a former standout at Reinhardt University, she contributed to a conference-winning team and later served as an undergrad assistant coach, providing data analysis and strategic insights.

Dani holds a Bachelor of Science in Sport Studies and Administration from Reinhardt University, with minors in Business Administration, Mathematics, and Studio/Graphic Arts. She continues to play actively, staying connected to the sport through various leagues and tournaments.

Helping student-athletes grow and succeed is something I'm very passionate about, and I know Young Harris is the perfect place to make an impact.
