YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Avery had an impressive month of October for the Young Harris College Women's Golf Team. At the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational, Cauwels finished T8 for the tournament, posting a 3-over round one and a 5-over round two to finish with an 8-over par 152. In her last tournament of the month, Avery finished in 10th place overall (+15 at the Newberry Women's Fall Invitational). 

Mountain Lions Director of Golf John Lichtenwalner stated, "Avery is our first freshman of the month on the women's side in a very long time. She finished in the top 10 in both of our October tournaments, and her passion for golf is a great influence on our team. This month is only the beginning and I'm sure she will build on it during the spring season."
