QUOTE FROM HEAD COACH JEREMY CURRIER:Â
"First, I want to thank everyone that came out to support our team. Many teams play in empty gyms over Christmas break- we are so thankful to have a great environment every home game at Young Harris College. Our guys could really feel it when everyone got behind them. Great energy and thank you to all that came out. Tonight was a good win for our team. We haven't played in almost three weeks; I was worried about having some rust on our game and we had some possessions that we wish we could get back- but our guys kept making plays." Continuing, "We really emphasized pushing our fast break, and are guys found some good offense in transition. Karl Chavis was unstoppable in the open court, attacking the rim, and made some important 3s for us. Carl Cleveland brought home an efficient double double and came up with winning plays down the stretch. On offense, I love when we share the ball and play off one another, 20 assists, an efficient 55% FG, 46% 3pt shooting is as good as it gets."
