GREENVILLE, S.C. | Parehuia Delamere continued her stellar defensive play for the Mountain Lions women's basketball team, helping Young Harris sweep three Conference Carolinas matchups this past week. The Mountain Lions notched decisive wins against Francis Marion (80-61), Southern Wesleyan (91-73), and North Greenville (66-38) to improve their season record to 12-6 overall and 6-4 in conference play. 

Delamere, known as "Agent P.," was a force on both ends of the court, stuffing the stat sheet across the trio of victories. She tallied 34 points, 28 rebounds, 15 assists, 13 steals, and three blocks for the week. Her standout performance came Saturday in a dominating 66-38 victory over North Greenville, where she posted an impressive double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. She also added six steals, four assists, and two blocks, anchoring a defense that ranks second in the nation (DII) in field goal percentage defense. 

In the week's first contest, the Mountain Lions faced Francis Marion in the Enchanted Valley. Young Harris built an early lead and never looked back, holding the Patriots to just 36.2% shooting from the field. Delamere contributed across the board with 12 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and three steals, setting the tone for a dominant defensive effort. 

On Wednesday, Young Harris traveled to Central, South Carolina, to take on Southern Wesleyan. The Mountain Lions unleashed an offensive showcase, scoring a season-high 91 points. Delamere's versatility was on full display, as she recorded 11 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, and four steals, helping YHC secure a convincing 91-73 win. 

The week concluded in Tigerville, South Carolina, with a suffocating defensive performance against North Greenville. The Mountain Lions limited the Crusaders to just 22.2% shooting from the field and forced 25 turnovers. Delamere's relentless energy on defense and ability to impact the game in multiple ways made her the centerpiece of YHC's defensive dominance. Parehuia scored 11 points, 11 rebounds, six steals, four assists, and two blocks. 

Delamere's performances this past week earned her the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week honors, a testament to her impact on the court.
