YOUNG HARRIS, GA| The Mountain Lions dominated at the plate this afternoon, scoring 28 total runs (Apr 5th). Long offensive innings led to a run-rule in game two and ultimately, two key conference wins for YHC.
The Mountain Lions move to 21-15 overall and are 8-4 in Conference Carolinas. The Bobcats move to 11-17 overall and are 6-6 in Conference Carolinas. YHC will play a double-header tomorrow (Apr 6th) at home, where they will take on the King Tornado. First pitches are scheduled for 1PM and 3PM.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
Game 1:
· Young Harris won with a final score of 4-2.
· The Bobcats got out to a 1-0 lead on a Mountain Lion error in the second inning.
· Lauren Ritchie hit a SAC fly to make the score 2-0.
· Bailee Brown got things going for Young Harris at the plate. In the bottom of the third, she doubled to left center to bring the game within one.
· Hannah Rizzuto (1-3) had an RBI single in the fourth to tie the game.
· To jump out 4-2, Gracie Hughes (2-3) went yard with a runner on base.
· Shelby Duncan, Sarah Morris, and Jess Jaruszewski all recorded stolen bases.
· Kylie Ferguson was issued her third win of the season after seven IP and seven K's.
Game 2:
· The Mountain Lions had fun in this one, winning with a final score of 24-4 in just five innings.
· YHC was able to score six runs in just the first inning. Hannah Carey's (3-3) double, Sammi Martin's walk, and Abby Castleberry's single all played a part.
· Lees-McRae responded in the second with a HR and an RBI double, bringing the score to 6-2.
· In the second inning, Young Harris added on five more. A LMU error brought in two in addition to Sammi Martin's (2-2) three-run HR. The score was 11-2.
· Allie Johnston and Brooks Eaddy knocked in two for the Bobcats in the third inning.
· The hot bats for YHC didn't stop there; the third inning was another huge one for the Mountain Lions. They were able to bring the whole lineup and some to the plate. They brought in eight runs.
· Maddy Brady and Hannah Davis' at bats brought the score to a final 24-4 in the fourth. Brady reached on a fielder's choice and Davis doubled to left.
· A couple of Mountain Lions had notable appearances at the plate: Bailee Brown (2-3, RBI, 2 SB), Hannah Carey (3-3, 3 RBIs), Grace Young (2-3, 2 RBIs), Gracie Hughes (2-3, RBI), Trinity Aycock (2-2, RBI), and Sammi Martin (2-2, 4 RBIs).
· Young Harris totaled 17 hits on 24 runs.
