Box Score Tigerville, SC| The Mountain Lions men's lacrosse team took on the Crusaders on Friday (Apr. 19) evening on the road. YHC played close with NGU throughout the contest, trailing at the half by a score of 8-7. In the second half, North Greenville started to take control, and eventually ran away with the victory as the game came to a close.
QUOTING HEAD COACH BRANDEN GELDART:
"The team performed well. We came out swinging and got a lead as big underdogs. Mistakes slowed us down and North Greenville University played and executed at a high level in the second half."
The Mountain Lions fall to 6-8 overall on the year and are now 3-4 in Conference Carolinas games. The Crusaders advanced to 9-7 overall and 5-2 in conference play.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

Wyatt Peak, Tommy Chriszt, and Dylan Young each scored four points in the game, with Peak and Young each netting three goals each.

Hayden Moffatt scored five goals and ended with six points; Christian Cechini netted six goals and finished with seven points for the Crusaders.

Gabe Nelson started in goal for NGU, surrendering 13 goals, while saving 11 SOG; Dylan Wilbur got the start for YHC, giving up 20 goals, and saving 12 SOG.

NGU outshot YHC 32 to 24 overall.
