Box Score 2 DUE WEST, SC. | Pulling off a sweep on the road, the Mountain Lions continue to make noise in the conference with two key wins today (Apr 10
th). 
Hannah Carey finished the day 4-7 at the plate with four RBIs. 
Gracie Hughes also had four RBIs in addition to a win on the mound in game one.
 
The Mountain Lions move to 24-16 overall and are 11-5 in Conference Carolinas. The Flying Fleet move to 5-27 overall and are 2-12 in Conference Carolinas. YHC will return home this Friday (Apr 12
th) for a doubleheader against Southern Wesleyan University. First pitch is scheduled for 2 PM.
 
QUOTING HEAD COACH JESSIE HOMESLEY:
 
"It was great to get two wins against conference opponent Erskine. Hopefully, we can take this momentum into the weekend with 4 big conference games on Friday and Saturday."
 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
 
Game 1:
	- Young Harris takes game one with a final score of 6-5.
 
	- YHC was swinging for the fences early. Shelby Duncan (2-3) and Grace Young (2-4) each had solo HRs in the early innings of the game.
 
	- The Flying Fleet answered strong at the plate. Peyton Rabon hit a solo shot in the third and Gabby Burroughs hit a grand slam in the fifth to put Erskine up 5-2.
 
	- Three runs came in for the Mountain Lions in the sixth thanks to RBIs from Shelby Duncan, Hannah Rizzuto (2-4) and Trinity Aycock (1-2).
 
	- To top things off, Hannah Carey went yard in the seventh.
 
	- Gracie Hughes added her seventh win to her season resume this afternoon.
 
 
Game 2:
	- The Mountain Lions finish on top in game two with a final score of 8-2.
 
	- A 1-0 lead materialized for YHC from a Gracie Hughes RBI.
 
	- Then, Gabby Burroughs hit a two-run HR for the go-ahead run. YHC trailed 2-1 after the first inning.
 
	- Young Harris dominated the rest of the game. Hannah Carey's (3-3) single and Gracie Hughes' (2-4) three run HR gave the Mountain Lions a 7-2 lead after five.
 
	- Carey put one out of the ballpark again in the seventh.
 
	- Young picked up the win after seven IP and four K's.
