Mountain Lions Softball Sweeps Erskine College in Mid-week Doubleheader

Young Harris, GA| The Mountain Lions softball squad has strung together four consecutive wins to move to 18-4 overall this season and 5-3 in Conference Carolinas games. YHC took on Erskine College on Wednesday (Mar. 27) afternoon at the YHC Softball Field in Young Harris; game one ended in the fifth inning on a walk-off on a Gracie Hughes two RBI single that earned the Mountain Lions their first 8-0 run-rule victory of the day. Game two ended in similar walk-fashion, this time in the sixth inning, as YHC strung together five runs, and "walked it off" on an error by a Flying Fleet infielder to collect their second 8-0 win of the afternoon.

Young Harris advanced to 18-14 overall this season and 5-3 in Conference Carolinas games. The Flying Fleet dropped to 4-22 overall and 1-7 in conference play. The Mountain Lions return to action next Wednesday (Apr. 3) at 1 p.m., where they take on Lee University in Young Harris.
