Box Score 2 ALBERTVILLE, ALA.| YHC gets off to a great 2-0 start in the tournament with wins over Montevallo University and Christian Brothers University (Feb 8th). The team continues to fight back late in games; the girls pulled off another walk-off in Game 2 off Avery Fielden's RBI.
The Mountain Lions advance to 6-1 on the season. The Montevallo Falcons drop to 1-5 and the Christian Brothers University Bucs move to 3-1. YHC will play Trevecca Nazarene tomorrow (Feb 9th) at 1PM in the Charger Chillout Tournament.

Young Harris wins Game 1 12-6 over Montevallo.

Gracie Hughes stood out today on the mound and at the plate. She went 2-4 with 2 HRs, knocking in 3 RBIs. She also picked up another win on the bump, starting her season 3-0.

Hannah Carey put one over the fence in the 4th, scoring Bailee Brown who was 3-4 with a walk. That is Carey's 4th HR in 6 games.

Kendall Channell was the biggest help for the Falcons, as she was 2-4 with 2 RBIs. She doubled down the LF line in the 3rd in a comeback effort.

The Mountain Lions won 8-7 over the Christian Brothers University Bucs.

Avery Fielden walked it off in the bottom of the 9th to secure an extra innings win for the Mountain Lions. Fielden singled through the right side and brought home Gracie Hughes. She finished the day 4-4 at the plate with 2 RBIs.
