Alfonzo Hilliard were recognized for their accomplishments at YHC.
The Mountain Lions advance to 16-11 overall and 10-7 in Conference Carolinas, while the Bulldogs move to 12-15 and 9-8. YHC wraps up regular season play next Wednesday, February 28th against North Greenville with a 7 pm matchup in Tigerville, S.C.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- The Mountain Lions leading scorer Carl Cleveland recorded his eighth double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
- Four Mountain Lions hit double-digit points- Cleveland (18), Karl Chavis (18), Dunlop (13), Cole Deptula (12)-.
- YHC out-rebounded BC 39-36. Every YHC player entered, grabbed at least one rebound.
- Paul Hosey (2), Eden Davis (2), Chavis (3), Cleveland (2), Deptula (1), and Ashe (1) combined for 11 assists.
- YHC had timely three-pointers hit by Nate Dunlap (3), Kolbe Ashe (2), Deptula (1), and Cleveland (1) in the victory.
- The Bulldogs had three players score double-digit points; Reese McDonald led with 19.
- The Bulldogs were down by one (47-48) at 13:02 in the 2nd half but momentum generated by a Deptula three and two good FTs by Hosey, gave YHC a six-point lead they capitalized on to get the win.
