Newberry, S.C.| The Mountain Lions traveled to South Carolina to take on the Wolves on Saturday (Feb. 10) afternoon. Ending the first half, deadlocked at seven a piece, Newberry scored four unanswered goals in the third period to take a commanding 11-7 lead over YHC. In the fourth period, the Mountain Lions did everything but lay down, scoring seven goals to the Wolves' one, and claimed a 14-12 road victory.
Young Harris improved to 2-1 this season, and Newberry dropped to 0-1 overall. The Mountain Lions return to action on Tuesday, when they take on the Limestone University Saints at 4 p.m. in Young Harris, GA.
