GREENVILLE, S.C. | Young Harris College Senior midfielder Shania Harris earned Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Week. This is Shania's second time winning conference offensive player of the week this season. Harris scored two goals this past week for the Mountain Lions.

Shania scored a goal and tacked on two assists in the Mountain Lions 2-1 victory over Emmanuel. Harris tallied the first goal of the match and found Betsy Bu early in the contest for what ended up being the game-winning goal.

Harris came up with late match heroics to force the 3-3 tie against North Greenville on Saturday. With her team down 3-2 in the final five minutes, Harris broke free and buried the equalizer past the keeper to force the draw.

Harris leads YHC in goals (11), assists (7), and points (29) this season. Her impressive offensive numbers place her tied for second in the conference in goals, second in points, and fifth in assists.
