COLUMBUS, Ga. | Hannah Rose Corbin pitched a complete game and hit two home runs as No. 21-ranked Columbus State University defeated Young Harris College 9-0 in six innings Friday (April 28) afternoon on the first day of the Peach Belt Conference Softball Tournament at Cougar Field.
The top seeded Cougars improved to 42-12, while the No. 8 seeded Mountain Lions fell to 18-30. YHC will advance to Saturday's (April 29) 3 p.m. elimination game against the loser of Friday's (April 28) first round game between No. 4 seed Lander University and No. 5 seed Flagler College.
