Young Harris, GA| The Mountain Lions defeated Georgia College and State University on Saturday (Dec. 30) afternoon at the Harp Recreation and Commencement Center. Young Harris led the Bobcats for 85.5% of the game.
Young Harris entered back into the win column and moves up to 7-5 on the season, while Georgia College and State University falls to 7-3. The Mountain Lions return to action on Wednesday (Jan. 3) evening to face Erskine College in Due West, S.C.

Carl Cleveland and Cole Deptula once again lead the way with 22 and 18 points respectively.

Karl Chavis made his much-anticipated season debut, putting up nine points and three rebounds.

The Bobcats leading scorer was Ian Davis, who put up 18 points and grabbed eight boards.

Young Harris bested Georgia College and State University in field goal percentage, 40.7% to 36.1% in Saturday afternoon's contest.

The Mountain Lions also shot better than the Bobcats from the charity stripe, shooting 85.7% to 76.9% respectively.
