Mountain Lions open up PBC play at Flagler

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. | Drew Flagg scored six goals to lead Flagler College to a 22-7 Peach Belt Conference men's lacrosse victory over Young Harris College Saturday (April 2) evening at the Flagler Lacrosse Field.

It was the first-ever PBC match for both teams. The Saints improved to 1-10 overall and to 1-0 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions fell to 0-10 and 0-1. The Mountain Lions entertain Lander University in a 2 p.m. PBC match Saturday (April 9) at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

Wyatt Peek, Gunnar Fagerstrom and Tommy Chriszt each scored twice for YHC, while Kieran Isbister had one.
Lukus Olson distributed the lone assist for the Mountain Lions.
Jacob Haas, who won six face-offs, led YHC with six ground balls, while Ben Soenen claimed four.
Colin Korry added three ground balls, while five other Mountain Lions had two each.
Malcolm Henke had three face-off wins, while Soenen caused five turnovers.
Korry recorded a career-best 13 saves in net for the Mountain Lions.
