Morgan Lewis have been named Gulf South Conference Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week ending March 27.
Purser was named the league's Player of the Week, while Lewis was selected as the Freshman of the Week.
Purser scored a game-high four goals in Young Harris' 17-10 win over Lenoir-Rhyne University . The sophomore from Duluth, Georgia, assisted on four goals for YHC while also recording eight draw controls, three ground balls and forcing three turnovers. She then recorded two more assists along with a draw control as Young Harris fell to Flagler College.
Lewis helped lead Young Harris to a 1-1 record this week with five goals, one assist and two ground balls. She scored three goals on six shots on goals while assisting on another as the Mountain Lions defeated Lenoir-Rhyne. The Easton, Maryland, native then scored two goals in YHC's second conference game of the season against Flagler.
Young Harris returns to action Tuesday (April 5) when they travel to Greenwood, South Carolina, for a 4 p.m. GSC match against Lander University.
