YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Young Harris College softball team swept a Peach Belt Conference doubleheader against the University of South Carolina-Aiken Sunday (March 20) afternoon at the YHC Softball Field.
Young Harris won the first game 6-1 and the second 1-0.
The Mountain Lions improved to 12-11 overall and 5-4 in the Peach Belt, while the Pacers fell to 17-11 and 4-3. Young Harris returns to action Tuesday (March 22) with a 2 p.m. doubleheader against Shorter University at home.

- YHC scored its lone run in the first inning off a single through the left side by Bayreuther scored Chappell.
- Brookelyn Sweeney (2-0) earned the win for the Mountain Lions. Sweeney pitched a complete-game shutout, allowing seven hits and struck out six batters faced.
- Payton Baker (9-4) got the loss for USC Aiken.
