COLUMBUS, Ga. | The Young Harris College men's basketball team fell to Columbus State University 90-75 in a Peach Belt Conference contest Wednesday (Feb. 9) evening at the Lumpkin Center.
The Cougars improved to 16-7 overall and 7-6 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions fell to 5-8 and 2-12. Young Harris returns to action Saturday (Feb. 12) with a 3:30 p.m. PBC contest against Augusta University at the YHC Recreation and Fitness Center.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Lenny Pradia led the Mountain Lions with 23 points and grabbed four rebounds. Pradia was also 4-of-5 from three-point range
- Carl Cleveland recorded a double-double in the contest with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Josh Petteno added 16 points including four three-pointers.
- Young Harris had their biggest lead of the night at 18-14 after Caleb Towns hit a jumper in the paint midway through the first half.
- Hunter Preston led the Cougars with 20 points and 14 rebounds. The Cougars led 42-29 at the half.
