MORROW, Ga. | Carl Cleveland led the Mountain Lions with 18 points as the Young Harris College men's basketball team fell to Clayton State University 85-75 in a Peach Belt Conference contest.
The Mountain Lions fell to 5-17 overall and 2-11 in the Peach Belt, while the Lakers improved to 7-14 and 2-9. Young Harris returns to action Wednesday (Feb. 9) with a PBC match up against Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia.Â
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Cleveland led the Mountain Lions with 18 points. He shot 58 percent (7-of-12) from the field and grabbed nine rebounds.Â
- Lenny Pradia recorded 16 points and five rebounds, while Josh Petteno added 11 points.Â
- Anterrious Rhyan dished out two assists and scored 10 points. Caleb Towns grabbed seven rebounds and recorded three blocks.
- Seth McCoy hit a three-pointer to move into a tie with C.J. Wilson (2013-17) for the school career mark of 216. Wilson accomplished the feat in 110 games, while this was the 88th career game for McCoy.Â
- Ricards Saams Jr. led the Lakers with 37 points and 12 rebounds.
- Young Harris led 44-43 going into the second half.
- Pradia put the Mountain Lions on top 71-70 after a jumper in the paint with 4:02 to play, but the Lakers went on to score 12 unanswered points to take control of the game.
