YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Anderson (S.C.) University defeated Young Harris College 6-1 in a non-conference men's tennis victory Saturday (Feb. 19) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.
The Trojans improved to 4-2, while the Mountain Lions fell to 3-3. YHC returns to action Saturday (Feb. 26) when they will travell to Tigerville, South Carolina, for an 11 a.m. match against North Greenville University.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Romeo Luque picked up the YHC point with his 7-6 (6), 6-3 win at No. 4 singles.
- Pieke Bouman lost in three sets for the Mountain Lions at No. 1 singles. He won the first set 6-3 before dropping set two by the same score. He lost 10-6 in the super tiebreaker.
